Privacy Policy

Ritual Runway is a manual-entry budgeting application. We do not connect to your bank. We do not sell your data. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and what your rights are.
What we collect
When you create an account we collect your email address and password. When you use the app we store the budget data you enter manually, including income, bills, accounts, savings goals, and ritual activity. We collect this data to operate the app and deliver the service you signed up for.
How we store your data
Your data is stored using Supabase, a third-party database service. Supabase's privacy policy governs how your stored data is handled on their infrastructure. We do not sell, share, or rent your data to any third party for marketing or advertising purposes.
Email communication
We use Resend, a third-party email service, to send transactional emails including account confirmations, trial reminders, payday reminders, and subscription notifications. You can opt out of non-essential emails at any time from your account settings. Resend's privacy policy governs how your email address is handled on their infrastructure.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. Ritual Runway does not store your payment card information. Stripe's privacy policy governs how your payment data is handled.
Your rights
You can export your data at any time from Settings. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings. Deletion removes your data from Ritual Runway's active systems. Residual copies may persist temporarily in our infrastructure provider's backup systems.
Cookies
We use essential cookies required for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not sell your data.
Aggregate analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and measure performance (Web Vitals) so we can keep the site fast. Vercel Web Analytics is privacy-friendly and does not use cookies, does not track you across sites, and does not collect personal information. We use it only to understand which pages are visited and how the site performs. Vercel's privacy policy governs how this aggregate data is handled on their infrastructure.
Error monitoring
We use Sentry to monitor application errors and a small sample of performance traces so we can detect bugs quickly. Sentry receives crash reports, stack traces, URL paths where errors occurred, and your user ID (so we can correlate a report to your account if you reach out for help). Sentry does not receive the contents of your budget, bills, income, or any financial data. Sentry's privacy policy governs how this monitoring data is handled on their infrastructure. Trace sampling is set to 10% in production to limit data collection.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy we will notify you by email before the changes take effect.
